Recipient of the annual Richard Porter Award, recognizing one exceptional upperclassman in the Franklin Scholars program on the basis of academic achievement and community service.

Selected as a finalist for the Harry S. Truman Scholarship, a national award for aspiring public service leaders.

Selected to represent the North Carolina Chapter of the Fulbright Association at Fulbright Advocacy Day. Met with 4 congressional offices across multiple states as part of a coordinated effort of 100+ meetings in a single day, advocating for restoring the Fulbright budget to $287.8M and promoting the value of international education and exchange programs.

Led the North Carolina video review process for incoming scholar applications.
